As Thanksgiving and the holiday season approaches, it is appropriate to take a step back and invest time in delivering gratitude. This practice is not only possible in your personal life, but your professional life as well.
Thank Your Customers for Their Reviews
This includes all social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). Be sure to stay on top of review sites (such as Yelp and Google) as well. A periodic Google search for your business name should uncover any reviews that you previously were not aware of. Responsiveness is highly valued by customers and actually responding to their reviews will be appreciated. Be sure to respond to both positive and negative reviews with warmth and gratitude.
Thanking customers with sincerity is important. Avoid using โcannedโ or formulaic messages, i.e. copy and pasting the same message to every reviewer. A customer is more likely to come back to repeat their business with you if you leave a lasting sense of positive candor.
Give Thanks to Your Favorite Business by Writing an Online Review
We all certainly have busy lives. Writing a review takes time and often only a negative experience will motivate us to invest our time in writing a review for a business. Think of a business you frequently patronize and why. Find them on social media and share a story of how their products or services have improved your life. Make it personal by telling a story.
What acts of gratitude have you planned for this season? Share your thoughts with us!
