After his time spent working for Google alongside Ben & Lienna, Marty got the opportunity to further his marketing background by joining forces with Ben shortly after the inception of Skol Marketing. And with a love for small businesses and a degree in business management, Marty climbed aboard, becoming the Vice President and Director of Social Media at Skol Marketing.

Drawing from his experience as a field-marketing specialist for Google, Marty now continues his pursuit of helping small businesses get found online by using his talents to develop exceptional social media campaigns and content for Skol Marketing clients.

Whether he’s leading the charge on a web design project or manning the content creation side of a keyword-rich SEO piece, Marty’s versatile skill sets and dedication to the small business scene has proven indispensable to the growth and success of Skol Marketing.

As a jack of all trades, Marty’s normal day at the office involves managing internal marketing operations such as SEO content strategy, social media, web design, internal HR, and new employee training.

When he’s not writing alt tags, you can find Marty throwing a frisbee around with the Wayzata high school ultimate team he coaches, throwing a frisbee around at the nearest disc golf course, biking to restaurants and breweries with his wife, Brianna, or throwing a frisbee around with his new puppy, Halland Oates—Holly for short.
